Privacy Policy

Super Investor is a free research tool. It has no paid plans, so it never collects payment card details, billing addresses, or tax identifiers. This page describes everything else it does collect.

What is collected

If you browse without an account

Nothing that identifies you personally is stored. Requests to the site’s API endpoints are logged with the endpoint name, your browser’s user-agent string, and a one-way hash of your IP address. The raw IP is not retained, and query strings are never stored, because they can contain verification or unsubscribe tokens. These logs exist to spot abuse and understand load.

If you create an account

  • Email address— used to sign you in and to send the alerts you ask for. Nothing else.
  • Display name— optional, only if you set one.
  • Follows— which investors and stocks you follow, so the site can show them to you and alert you when they file.
  • Alert preference— daily, weekly, or off.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to measure aggregate traffic — page views, referrers, approximate region, device type. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. You can block them with any standard browser setting or extension and the site will work normally.

Who else processes this data

  • Supabase — database and authentication.
  • Vercel — hosting, edge caching, and traffic analytics.
  • Amazon SES — delivery of alert and verification emails.
  • Google Analytics — aggregate traffic measurement.

Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers, and no marketing email is sent beyond the alerts you explicitly opted into.

Retention

Account data is kept for as long as the account exists. Hashed request logs are kept for operational analysis and are not linked to accounts. Deleting your account removes your email, profile, follows, and alert subscriptions.

Your choices

  • Turn alerts off at any time from your dashboard, or via the unsubscribe link in any alert email.
  • Request a copy of your data, or its deletion, by emailing aimike003@gmail.com. Requests are handled manually.

If you are in the UK or EEA, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under the UK GDPR and GDPR. The same email address is the contact point for exercising them.

Data about people who are not users

This site republishes public regulatory filings, which name fund managers, corporate insiders, and members of Congress. That information comes from SEC EDGAR and from House and Senate disclosure systems, is published by those bodies as a matter of law, and is reproduced here unchanged. It is processed on the basis of legitimate interest in making public financial disclosures searchable. Corrections can be sent to the address above, though the underlying filing itself can only be amended by its filer.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the “last updated” date above. See also the terms of use.
